Have you found math sections from the prior iteration of the SAT helpful for practicing these outlier problems? I could definitely use more practice material for my aspiring perfect scorers.
Absolutely. I don't assign full tests from the old SAT, but there are usually ~5 good ones in every test. It's worth finding those and sharing them with students. If you had great worksheets for the old SAT, you may be able to repurpose them pretty easily (just remove the irrelevant questions).
